The 2021 ICF Stand Up Paddling (SUP) World Championships took place on Lake Balaton in Balatonfüred, Hungary, featuring elite athletes competing in long-distance, sprint, and technical races.

We took care of the visual appearance behind the athletes at this sporting event. Exciting 3D projections have been applied to surfaces of various sizes and shapes.

Competition Support

SUP was familiar territory for us, as we had previously created content for the sport. This time, however, the focus shifted from promotion to supporting the competition itself, requiring a different set of visual and technical solutions.

Production Challenges

The project came with a particularly demanding schedule, and the available display surfaces were also quite limited. Balancing these constraints while still delivering clear and effective event content made the production especially challenging.

Look Development

The look of the show is again something that we spent a lot of time developing. Stylized but still 3D, emphising shapes and removing others.
