In June 2024, our company had the privilege of contributing to the Olympic Qualifier Series held at Budapest's Ludovika Campus. The event ran from June 20 to 23 and featured four urban sports: breaking, BMX freestyle, skateboarding, and sport climbing. The campus's authentic urban environment provided an ideal backdrop for these disciplines, attracting both athletes and enthusiasts.
Event Visuals
Our team was responsible for creating dynamic visual content that both enhanced the atmosphere of the event and communicated important information clearly to attendees. The goal was to strike a balance between engaging visuals and practical event communication.
Designing for Daylight
Because the event took place outdoors, special attention had to be paid to visibility and readability under natural lighting conditions. Colors, contrast, and motion were carefully designed to ensure the content remained vibrant, clear, and effective throughout the day.
Visual Style
The visual language drew inspiration from urban art and street culture, reflecting the energy and character of the sports featured at the event. The goal was to create a bold, dynamic aesthetic that felt authentic to the environment and audience.
Working Within the Brand
The event's brand guidelines and pre-designed graphic assets were provided by the creative team and served as the foundation for our work. Our role was to transform these static elements into a cohesive motion graphics package while maintaining consistency with the established visual identity.
