Kajla
2D Animation
Kajla is an animated series about the adventures of a dog, a boy, and his sister as they travel across Hungary with their parents, visiting exciting historical landmarks. With the help of their magic ball, they relive the legends and stories tied to each site.
We managed nearly the entire production of the show, completing it in just nine months – including pre-production. Our work also extended to script development, ensuring the series had a polished and cohesive final result.
Animation
A major focus of the production was bringing the children, Kajla, and their episodic companions to life. Each episode introduced historical characters from a different period, requiring a diverse range of performances and personalities throughout the series.
Compositing
Compositing played a crucial role in the visual storytelling, particularly during the transition sequences. Since each episode featured a unique journey between the magical world and reality, we developed custom transition effects to support the narrative and maintain the visual continuity of the series.
Background
We devoted significant attention to the creation of Kajla's backgrounds. Despite producing nearly 100 unique environments, we were able to maintain a consistent visual quality and style throughout the entire series.
Educational Content
In addition to the main story, we created short educational motion-graphics segments for each episode. These bite-sized pieces of information were designed to spark children's curiosity and encourage further exploration of the topics featured in the story. Our goal was to integrate them naturally into the experience, ensuring they felt engaging rather than overtly instructional.
