19th FINA World Championships

Motion graphics

The 19th FINA World Championships were held in Budapest, Hungary, from June 18 to July 3, 2022. The event featured over 2,100 athletes competing across five aquatic disciplines: swimming, open water swimming, diving, artistic swimming, and water polo.

We created motion design for multiple events across a wide variety of screens, developing a scalable system to create athlete introductions for nearly 2,000 athletes. These were displayed on unique LED screens throughout the venues.

Technical Setup

The events utilized a wide range of display technologies, including 4K LED walls and projection systems. The exact configuration varied from venue to venue, with screen sizes, resolutions, and placements tailored to the specific requirements of each event.

Flexible Deployment

While the technical setups differed, the overall content structure remained largely consistent. This allowed the visuals to be adapted efficiently across various LED resolutions and display formats while maintaining a cohesive experience.

Live Event Support

Throughout the event, we maintained continuous communication with the on-site server operators and graphics teams, allowing us to respond quickly to additional requests, last-minute changes, and evolving production needs. This close collaboration helped ensure smooth operation throughout the event.
