Tepsi, Pumpa and Klotild is a 13-part animated series for children aged 6–10, blending playful storytelling with psychological tools to foster emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills. Each 12-minute episode explores key topics like self-esteem, communication challenges, anxiety, and anger management.
We created the whole visual world – designing characters and backgrounds, storyboarding, modeling, rigging, and animating the film. We handled the full production, overseeing art direction and character design while finding a cost-effective way to bring this enchanting tale to life.
Building on the Foundation
By the time we joined the project, the script had already been established. Our role was to build upon that foundation, refining the visual approach and finding creative solutions to bring the story to life in the most effective way possible.
Technical Integration
Bringing all the elements together required a carefully coordinated workflow. We exported 3D camera data and relied on advanced compositing techniques to seamlessly combine the various assets and achieve the final visual style.
Results
By combining hand-crafted 2D backgrounds with 3D elements, we achieved a rich and polished visual style while keeping production efficient. This hybrid approach allowed us to maximize visual quality without exceeding the project's budget.
The Result
The project presented its fair share of challenges, but through creativity, collaboration, and persistence, we successfully brought it to completion. Looking back, the final result made the effort worthwhile and stands as a testament to the team's dedication throughout the production.
