With the supervision of world-renowned Olympic champions, we created a highly detailed live-action and animation video guide for professional coaches and athletes competing in canoeing at the Olympic level.
We managed the entire production process, including live-action filming, sound design, voice recording, and script development, delivering a comprehensive and polished result for our esteemed client.
Script Development
The project began with an in-depth script development phase, during which we transformed the Olympians' ideas, experiences, and notes into a cohesive narrative. The goal was to create a film that remained true to their vision while presenting the material in a clear and engaging way.
Research and Preparation
To gain a thorough understanding of the subject matter, we attended training sessions and events firsthand. This allowed us to learn about the techniques, equipment, and specific needs of the people involved, ensuring an authentic and informed approach to the production.
Previsualization
Before filming began, we developed an animatic and a rough storyboard to plan the shoot in detail. This process helped us visualize key moments, refine the structure of the film, and ensure that every important shot was captured efficiently during production.
Filming Setup
We captured the action from multiple camera angles and built a clean white backdrop directly at the river's edge. This approach provided greater flexibility during editing while creating a distinctive and visually striking look for the final film.
