The Zsolnay Light Festival is Hungary's premier light art event, held annually in Pécs. Each July, the city's historic center transforms into a luminous spectacle, featuring 3D projections, light installations, and interactive exhibits that illuminate streets, squares, and iconic buildings.

We managed the full direction, visual concept development, and ideation, alongside designing the production pipeline and executing compositing to deliver a cohesive and impactful final product.

Creative Concept

In 2023, we were invited to develop the main creative concept for the event from the ground up under a particularly demanding schedule. Returning to work on the monumental Dóm of Pécs after Book of Jonas was both a pleasure and an exciting creative challenge.

Event Content

The animation was used throughout the event, running before, between, and after the competition program. This ensured a consistent visual presence and helped maintain audience engagement throughout the day.

Informational Content

In addition to the main visuals, the content package included informational sequences and sponsor materials, providing practical event information while supporting partner visibility.
