The 2019 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships were held in Szeged, Hungary, welcoming the world’s top paddlers to compete at the renowned Maty-ér Regatta Course. Known as the "Mecca of Canoeing," Szeged provided a spectacular setting for thrilling races and Olympic qualifiers, reinforcing its reputation as a premier venue for water sports.

We produced three TV spots using a combination of 2D and 3D techniques, managing the entire process from concept development and direction to art direction, rendering, and final delivery.

Creative Involvement

Working on the TV spots and commercials was a rewarding experience. Beyond production, we were also involved in developing the creative concepts behind the campaigns, helping shape both their visual direction and storytelling.

Project Scope

In addition to producing two TV spots to promote the event, we also developed a complete visual package for the venue. Since the event took place in an open-air environment during the day, the graphics had to be designed with a variety of practical considerations in mind, including visibility, lighting conditions, and viewing distance.

Creative Concept

One of the TV spots focused on the history of the sport, bringing together iconic athletes and memorable moments from the past to celebrate its legacy and achievements.

Athlete Perspectives

Some of the pieces focused on personal reflections from elite athletes, exploring their thoughts on Hungarian kayaking, its traditions, and its place within the international sporting community.
