The 2019 Fencing World Championship, held in Budapest, Hungary, brought together the world’s top fencers for an electrifying showcase of skill and strategy. Hosted at the iconic BOK Hall, the event celebrated Hungary’s rich fencing tradition while crowning new champions across individual and team events.
We designed and created visuals specifically for a massive 50m-long, 3m-tall LED wall, long with additional LED surfaces. The challenge was to develop dynamic visuals that blended seamlessly into the event's atmosphere – striking the perfect balance between impact and subtlety to enhance the overall experience.
Brand Integration
We worked within the existing brand guidelines and visual assets to ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the project, maintaining alignment with the established identity.
Live Data Integration
Since results were updated almost in real time, we developed a custom database system that could rapidly deliver score updates to the media server. This allowed the entire LED installation to function as a single continuous surface while displaying the latest competition data.
Scale
The final installation covered an impressive 200 m² of LED screen space, creating a large-scale visual experience for both participants and spectators.
On-Site Support
Our team was present on-site for five days, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and providing support throughout the event.
