Dragon Boat Paddler's Hub promotion

Stylized 3D animation

Paddlers Hub commissioned us to create a commercial for their Middle East division, with the aim of introducing kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddling (SUP), and dragon boating to the regional markets.

We developed a unique visual style through extensive 3D R&D and managed the full production of this piece, including 3D animation, compositing, and 2D effects, resulting in a cohesive and visually captivating final product.

Look Development

We chose a watercolor-inspired visual style for the series, giving it a distinctive handcrafted feel while supporting the tone and atmosphere of the story.

Previsualization

The previs was created using a combination of 3D animation and compositing. This allowed us to establish camera work, timing, and scene composition early in the production process.

Look Development

The look of the show is again something that we spent a lot of time developing. Stylized but still 3D, emphising shapes and removing others.
